Working with YearRound

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Metairie and serve Metairie, Kenner, New Orleans and communities across Jefferson, Orleans, St. Charles and St. Tammany parishes. Contact us if you are outside these areas and we will let you know whether we can help.

Are you available after hours?

Yes. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we schedule routine work around your operating hours — including after closing for restaurants.

What types of properties do you work with?

We focus on commercial customers: restaurants, hotels, apartment communities, property managers, warehouses, industrial facilities, retail, offices, schools, churches, daycares, healthcare facilities and multi-location businesses.

Can you handle all of our fire protection systems?

That is the idea. YearRound coordinates extinguishers, kitchen hood and suppression, fire alarm, sprinkler, fire pump, backflow, hose and emergency lighting services so you can work with one company. A small number of specialty services, such as DOT cylinder hydrostatic testing, are coordinated through qualified partners and managed by us.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. YearRound is licensed and insured. License and insurance documentation is available on request — ask us for a certificate of insurance for your vendor file.

Pricing & Scheduling

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on the type of service, the number and size of systems or devices, access conditions and what we find on site. We publish starting rates on our pricing page and confirm everything in a written quote before work begins.

Do you charge for repairs without approval?

No. Deficiencies found during an inspection are documented and quoted. Corrective work is performed only after you approve it.

Do you offer discounts for multiple services or locations?

Yes. Commercial Maintenance Programs and multi-location accounts receive bundled program pricing. New commercial accounts also receive 15% off their first service.

Will you remind us when service is due?

Yes. Customers on a maintenance program receive reminders before each scheduled service.

Inspections, Codes & Documentation

Does an inspection make my building "compliant"?

An inspection tells you the condition of your systems at the time of service and identifies deficiencies. Compliance is ultimately determined by your local fire authority (the Authority Having Jurisdiction) and depends on correcting deficiencies and maintaining systems over time. We help you understand findings and address them.

Which codes apply to my property?

Most fire protection inspection and maintenance in the U.S. is based on NFPA standards adopted by the state and local jurisdictions, sometimes with local amendments. The edition and requirements that apply depend on your property and location. When in doubt, we recommend confirming with your fire inspector.

What documentation do I receive?

You receive service tags where applicable and a written report for each visit, describing what was inspected or tested, results, and any deficiencies with recommended corrections.

What should I do if a fire inspector cites a deficiency?

Send us a copy of the inspection report. We will review it, explain what is needed, and provide a quote and schedule to address the items.
